7 Months

Mekhi will be 7 months old tomorrow and we have now been in Grenada for a month and a half. Just a few pics of our recent events, I don't have Mekhi's measurements because we don't have a scale, but he's heavy haha. He now has two teeth, both bottom ones and he's an absolute ham, whenever we take him into town he stares down women on the bus or in stores until they look at him then he gives them a big two tooth grin and tooks away. Yeah ladies man in the making.
Above is Mekhi eating his first baby cookie, god they are messy!
He absolutely loves starfruit.

We went down to the beach one morning and saw the local fisherman pulling in nets, it was pretty darn cool and then once the fish were out of the net they pulled out a scale and the fish were bought right there by peeps standing by, it was amazing. This fish went first.

Kellon and Mekhi watching the little fish being taken out of the net.
I've been meaning to get this on video, when Kellon brushes his teeth he brings Mekhi with him. Mekhi loves to participate...just watch.

Hey - you could weigh Mekhi on the fisherman's scale! Just take a bag or newspaper and tell him to sit really still.

(I like that Laura, very funny).

Kellon is really fun to watch with Mekhi. He's a great father.

Starfuit is very good, its yellow and in it has 5 points, you cut it into slices which makes them all look like stars and its soooo good. Its kind of crunchy and juicy yum yum

We get starfruit in Kenora occasionally. Years ago we went on a kick of buying food that was new to Safeway and trying it out. That was the first time I ever saw starfruit.

Megan does it grow down there? Any in your neighbourhood or do you have to buy it in the market?

We buy it in the market, therefore it must grow locally but I haven't seen any...must be the farmers.

That was great fun to watch and watching Kellon instructing Mekhi is very impressive. They work together really well.
